Offensive tackle Enoch Wangoy, a redshirt freshman from Florida, is making a significant move, signing with Ole Miss after entering the NCAA Transfer Portal. Wangoy, standing at an impressive 6-foot-7 and weighing 333 pounds, will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Rebels. This transfer marks a pivotal moment for both the player and the Ole Miss team. But here's where it gets interesting... Wangoy hasn't actually played in a college game yet!
Wangoy, originally from Manchester, England, only started playing football in 2023. He initially joined the Gators as a highly-regarded three-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle, after reclassifying following two years at Zarephath Academy in Jacksonville, Florida. According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, he was ranked as the No. 54 offensive tackle in his class, No. 119 in Florida, and No. 887 overall. This ranking is a weighted average that considers input from the major recruiting media companies.
For those keeping score, Ole Miss is also bringing in some serious talent. They've secured the commitment of former Southern Utah running back Joshua Dye, who led the nation in rushing last season! Dye racked up a staggering 1,832 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns on 295 carries in 2025. This makes Ole Miss's running back room incredibly dynamic.
And this is the part most people miss... Dye's commitment comes on the heels of Ole Miss's impressive Fiesta Bowl run this season, where they made it to the College Football Playoff national semifinals. They're also welcoming back Kewan Lacy, who was a Doak Walker Award finalist and finished the season ranked third in the FBS in rushing yards with 1,567 and 24 touchdowns. Lacy played a major role in the Rebels' success this season.
Wangoy is the second pledge of the day for Ole Miss, and the latest addition to their 24-member 2026 transfer class. He is the third offensive lineman of the class, joining former LSU interior lineman Carius Curne, former Oklahoma interior lineman Troy Everett.
